Anti-zionism is not Antisemitism: People's Town Hall and Rally

The Baltimore chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) will hold a People’s Town Hall and Rally responding to an event at Enoch Pratt Free Library featuring Senator Chuck Schumer talking about his new book Antisemitism in America. JVP’s Town Hall will examine the crucial distinction between antisemitism and anti-Zionism, address Sen. Schumer’s record of conflating the two, and show how this harms Jewish communities and our allies in the fight for Palestinian rights. The demand: that Senator Schumer withdraw the Antisemitism Awareness Act, break with the ADL, break with AIPAC, and call out these organizations for their complicity with actual antisemitism and their refusal to fight for collective liberation. Art, snacks, and social activities will also be available.

The People’s Town Hall and Rally will take place across the street from the entrance to the Enoch Pratt Library Central Branch (400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201) from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, March 17th
