Baltimore 2 Palestine Weekly Vigil for Gaza

The Baltimore 2 Palestine Vigil (AKA The Vigil) is a space dedicated to publicly uplifting the ongoing struggle to liberate Palestine. This weekly ritual (every Friday from 5:30-7 pm at E 33rd and Hillen Rd) is an invitation to create connections and build community with a grassroots collective of individuals who share an unapologetic commitment to standing up for freedom in Palestine, Baltimore, and anywhere in the world where communities suffer from racism and oppression.

In this practice we align ourselves with values of love, unity, and collective liberation and reaffirm that opposition to political Zionism is not a form of anti-Semitism. We uphold the principle that human rights are universal and that ALL people have a right to live in dignity, equality, and peace. Our weekly gathering is grounded and sustained in a vision of racial & economic justice, shared resources, women’s rights, queer liberation, Indigenous sovereignty, climate justice, and self-determination for communities everywhere–from Baltimore to Palestine and back again.”
