Continuing the legacy of Eddie Conway

Join the family, comrades and Tubman House OGs for a birthday celebration/commemoration of Eddie Conway and his legacy at Red Emma’s April 23, 2025 6-8 pm. The event will be hosted by Bashi Rose. We are asking people who have worked with Eddie over the years, especially in the prison system to come out and celebrate Baltimore’s very own freedom fighter, and hear about our upcoming projects to carry on our warrior’s legacy.

Eddie Conway was a member of the Baltimore branch of the Black Panther Party, incarcerated as a political prisoner for 44 years. In that time, he never stopped fighting for justice and liberation, and continued that fight when he was released in 2014, until his passing in 2023.
