Join us for a documentary screening and discussion of a portion of “You Got to Move: Stories of Change in the South”

Together, we’ll learn about the organizing efforts of working-class people who stood up when toxic waste was being dumped in their community. We’ll then discuss: What lessons can we learn from this struggle? What did it take for people to believe in their own power and stand up for their interests? What would it take today?
