Esterline Vielot presents "Coconut Paradise" w/ special Haitian Coffee Tasting in conversation w/ Glenda Lezeau
When Cassandra, a Haitian-American influencer raised far from her roots, moves to Cap-Haïtien to take over her late grandmother's deteriorating hotel, she expects to renovate a building, not her entire sense of self.
As Cassandra navigates cultural and language divides, uneasy relationships, and a haunting legacy, she begins to uncover the untold story of the grandmother she never met-and the deep, tangled lineage she carries within her. What starts as a reluctant journey becomes a reckoning with identity, belonging, and the ghost of a homeland she's only beginning to know
