Romello Goodman is an artist, designer, and educator whose work explores code as a creative medium.
Based in Baltimore, MD, he has built award-winning products used by millions at industry leaders including The New York Times, Shopify and Anthropic. He helps cultivate the field of creative coding through teaching graphic design at MICA and workshops through Cooper Union and Letterform Archive. His writing has been featured in publications like Logic(s) and Increment by Stripe.
At the heart of Goodman's practice is a belief that code is a tool for expression and intimate connection. Using web technologies, he creates generative drawings and prints that blur conventions of analog/digital art. Drawing inspiration from the early web's spirit of experimentation, he designs spaces that are not just containers for information but living, breathing entities capable of profound expression.
