How to Be An Ally to Trans Youth

How to Be An Ally to Trans Youth

"Please join Trans Maryland for a special conversation at Greedy Reads this weekend Sunday June 1st! Trans Maryland’s director of research and assessment, M Pease, will sit down with “Trans Kids, Our Kids” author Alexis Stratton and “American Teenager” author Nico Lang for a critical conversation about supporting and uplifting trans youth during a turbulent political era. These groundbreaking books each highlight the struggles and resilience of trans communities, and the authors will discuss their work and how we can all fight back against oppression and marginalization. The group will also be joined in conversation by Liz Williams, the cover artist for “Trans Kids, Our Kids.”

The discussion will take place at Greedy Reads Remington (320 West 29th St.) as part of the Lost Weekend literary festival. Conversation will begin at 3pm ET and last for an hour.

Hope to see you there!"
